Time

There never seems to  be enough time anymore! I get up anywhere between 5 and 5:30 am, stumble down the stairs to start the coffee, feed the cat, clean the litter box, put the clean dishes away and wash the dirty ones that always seem to appear in the middle of the night (usually by my 15 year old son from his midnight snacks). Run back upstairs to take my shower, wake up my son so he can start his day, wait impatiently to get back into the bathroom to dry my hair after rummaging through my closet to find something to wear (my closet is loaded with clothes, but I never can find a thing to wear!). Go back downstairs to make lunches, run back upstairs to make sure that I haven't forgotten anything, and made the mad dash out the front door with my son, drop him off at school, and then begin my hour long journey to work. *breathe*

Work until about 4:30 or so, drive back home, start dinner, put the dishes away from the morning, serve and eat dinner, clean more dishes. Around 7 o'clock or so, I might get to sit down and work on a crafting project. Usually by the time that I plop my tired butt down, my darling BF calls me back upstairs to show me something on the computer. Men, no matter how old they are, always seem to know exactly when to start conversation........usually when I just want to have some "me time"!! Case in point...my son hasn't said much at all to me since I arrived at home (he was sleeping - must be nice!!). I finally find the time to hop onto the computer, and he just happens to find the time to start talking to me! I talked for a few minutes, and explained that I want to sit down and blog. Of course he made fun of me. I said "bye, I'll talk to you later", smiled, and gently closed the door. And here I sit.
Okay.....just got back from proofreading my BF's letter. And now just talking to him. I wanna finish this and make some more carrots for my Etsy shop, damn it!! :)

I love making these, among other things in my shop as well. To sit down and take just even a few minutes to make something is soooo relaxing to me.

I guess I've rambled on enough, it's almost 9:30....so I better snag a few moments to play around with my crafting stuff before it's time to go to bed!! Have a good night, everyone!!

In the beginning.....

Well, I've finally taken the plunge. Blogging has been on my "to do" list for a long while now, but it seems I can hardly find the time to actually sit myself down and just DO it! I've spent hours pouring over some wonderful blogs....and instead of reading blogs today, I finally convinced myself to write my own!

Hot pomegranate/white tea in hand (soooo yummy!), I plopped myself in front of my computer, and started messing with the HTML codes. I'm a graphic designer, but I really am not into the web design stuff. I think that's what hindered starting a blog....but I certainly CAN NOT have a plain white, boring ol' blog! It's not exactly the way I want it, but it's a decent beginning.

Anyways, in the future I will be writing (a lot, I hope!) about my "never a dull moment life", cooking, baking, and crafts. Oh, and vintage stuff!

Have a super day......I hope to write more tomorrow!!
